Sunday May 5, Brian (Katie's brother) and a handful of his friends ran the Lake Minnetonka Half Marathon to raise money and awareness to We Believe in Katie.

The weather was perfect for a race, and the route was beautiful. Dan crushed everybody as expected. David completed his very first half marathon and did fantastic. Jeff PRed (achieved a personal record). And Brian came very close but didn't quite PR; apparently he needs some slower friends. He likes to think he "lead from behind".

Rounding the final corner, seeing his wife, kids and parents cheering him on gave Brian that last boost of energy to finish strong and there was much celebrating at the finish line. It truly was a special day, and many thanks goes out to the generosity of those who donated!
