We hope you can help us celebrate Katie’s Birthday - one last time

After a great deal of soul-searching John and I have decided “Katie’s Birthday Benefit – 2023” will be our final, large scale fundraising event.  It wasn’t an easy decision.    While our “We Believe in Katie” accomplishments leave us proud and very, very grateful to so many, we also recognize that given where we are in our lives it makes sense to scale back our fundraising efforts.  Supporting blood cancer awareness and research, remaining involved with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin and awarding the final Verona Area Scholarships are only a few ways we will continue to make a difference for others in Katie’s honor.   We are confident that other opportunities will arise.  

In the meantime, we are busy preparing for our spring event and very excited about our new look.  Different from prior years, our benefit will be held on a Sunday afternoon rather than an evening.  The date is April 30, 2023, and location is The Eloise, a beautiful, countryside venue between Verona and Mt. Horeb. Please check out their website.   

We will continue to provide event updates as the time gets closer.  

Again, it feels strange to know that this will be our last “Birthday Benefit” but I also believe it will be the best ever!  Please save the date and plan to join us at The Eloise Sunday afternoon, April 30th.
